Duuuhh…!!! It’s been a year now and our Las Vegas hangover still not over.. 😉 The Sin-City is full of adventures, experiments , casino, architecture, shopping, fashion, and lots of good – food. OMG..! There’s just so much to see and so much to do. But one of the best thing to do in Vegas is walk “The Strip”. It is the best way to explore the real Vegas be it day or night. Or may be, I can just say that Vegas is the synonym of “The Strip “. As, Vegas is famous for casinos and booze so when we tell our friends and family that we are going to Vegas for a weekend, everyone assume that we are going for gambling. But to be very honest guys, gambling was not at all our part of agenda. We just want to enjoy and explore the Vegas as there are so many things to experience. So, we packed our bags and boarded the American Airlines flight from Houston airport. As, it was our first and most awaited trip.. so much excitement was there..:D
Day 1 :
We touchdown Vegas at Friday late night around 12.30 p.m. We took a cab and headed to our hotel ‘LUXOR‘. It is the 5th largest hotel in Vegas and 9th largest hotel in the world. Let me tell you…every hotel in Vegas is based on a theme and Luxor is Egypt themed casino-resort on the Southern end of the Las Vegas Strip. Since we always wanted to visit Egypt and see the pyramids (one of the seven wonders of the world); we decided to stay in pyramid to feel the Egyptian culture. We were so amazed by the internal structure that we instantly started photo-shooting various parts of the hotel. Finally, we checked-in our room and stayed in the Pyramid ;). The room was large, clean and uber comfortable. Overall nice place to Stay.
After getting few hours of sleep, we woke up early in the morning and had breakfast in Pyramid cafe, which includes toast, yogurt, orange juice, and blueberry muffins. After having a lovely breakfast and exploring the hotel itself, we headed towards Oasis pool in Luxor, as Vegas is also famous for pools and pool parties. Though, I’m not a pool person but Priyank is highly fond of it. 🙂 About an hour soaking in pool, we decided to spend the afternoon exploring the strip. Although, we went in the summer of May but weather was pretty awesome that day. We took a tram to Mandalay bay and explored Excalibur, Newyork, Caesars Palace, Paris, and nearby hotels in series. In between, we had some burger and Drinks.
Don’t miss to dance with M&M’s
kisses for you Lovelies..:*
Although, Vegas strip, is famous for its lounges, showrooms, nightclubs; but there are so many free attractions visible from the strip which include the water musical fountain at Bellagio , volcano eruption at The Mirage, and the festival fountain at Caesars Palace. After feeding our soul with these beautiful and amazing attractions, it was the time to feed our body, as we were so much tired and hungry ..! P.S Vegas strip is longer than it looks .. 😉 We choose the Eiffel Tower restaurant (though I always wanted to be in Paris for the real one.. finger crossed ; ) for our dinner. By this time, the strip was full of light and the view of Bellagio fountain show from the restaurant took my breath away. We had the luxurious and romantic dinner along with chocolate hazelnut cake. The overall experience made a life time memory. 🙂
Now, it was time to hit the floor at Marquee night club. So, we went back to our room and changed our clothes to rock the stage. There was so much crowd afterall it was a Saturday night 😉 The inside atmosphere of the club was buzzling with absolutely rocking music. About two hours of dancing with the awesome crowd, we went back to our room and hoping for the another thrilling Day.
Day 2 :
We woke up in a bright sunny day and took the caffeine shots to get energized and get rid of the hangover of the last night. Had showered, got ready and took a quick breakfast at the food court. After breakfast, we headed to The Venetian for a Gondola ride through the canal. The gondolians were dressed perfectly and were singing Italian songs throughout the ride. It was beautiful experience. Then, we headed to explore Aria, MGM, and Wynn. The internal structure and decoration of all the resorts was marvelous but the beauty and architecture of Wynn was awestruck 🙂 . Seriously, if you have lots of money to burn you should definitely stay there only. 🙂
After enjoying some drinks and ice-creams, it is the time for some shopping. Phewwww what a girl wants.. I also bought stuffs for everyone at home and the most beautiful thing that we got in Vegas was the personalized 3D crystal engraving of us at the Cashman Crystal in Excaliber hotel. Those guys were really amazing to create your lifetime memory within two hours. Now, we chose the Bombay Indian Cuisine for our late lunch or dunch, as we were so much craving for the Indian food by that time. As we were in the entertainment capital of the world and Vegas trip is incomplete without watching at-least one live show. We chose “Zumanity” by Cirque du Soleil in New York Hotel. This is an adult show that combines comedy with sexuality and dance. After watching the show, I can definitely say that there is no other city in the world which can compete with live shows of Las Vegas. These two full days packed with unlimited fun and life long memories in the Sin City of the world, it was the time again to pack our bags to go back to our sweet home. We checked-out around 12.30 a.m. and headed back to Houston. 🙂
