If you are in Dubai and leave this Emirate without the experience of Desert Safari, it would be a blunder. 🙂 Although, I am already based in a country where Desert is in abundant but I was still so excited to experience the Desert Safari in Dubai. I was all set with my outfit from Zaful, makeup, and of-course awesome poses 😉 After doing some online research, we book our tour with Arabian Night Safari. Our ride was on a 4×4 van that can fit up-to 6 people and of-course driver. We were three couples in our car: one from Saudi, one from Germany, and we. Our driver was very joyous and friendly to crack jokes and detailing about the Dubai and Arabian culture.
We ride on paved roads from the city for about 30 to 40 minutes until we were about to enter the sand dunes. This was the real beginning of the desert adventure. This is the place where our driver prepared the van for the safari to our final destination (an Arabian camp somewhere in the middle of the desert). The van wheels were deflated to get a grip on sand before driving out in desert and our driver gave us one of the most thrilling ride of about 40 minutes in sand dunes. It felt like we are riding a roller-coaster. As it not a clean and easy ride, you really have to hold on to your seats and make sure you strap yourself in.
After the thrilling session of bumping and bashing over the sand dunes, we made a quick stop somewhere deeper in the desert for the sun-set photos. And let me tell you guys, what a spectacular panoramic view it was. Sun setting over the ocean of desert, I was filled with awe and wonder. Although, Priyank got nausea after this thrilling ride but still could manage to take these amazing shots 🙂 Thank God, about a 5-10 min of further ride, we reached our Arabian camp where camel ride, middle-eastern food, music, dance, and lots of other entertainments were waiting for us.
Inside the camp, it feels like you are attending a mini fare. There were long rows of dining tables along with a long carpet and a center stage in the camp. There were also booths for heena tatto, sheesha and sand bottle souvenir. We were first served up a delicious chicken shawarma with a nice buffet including both veg and no-veg to follow-up. Of-course any Arabian dinner could not be complete without accompanying a Belly and Tanoura dance. After our dinner, a talented dancer graced the stage with her fantastic moves. After the belly dance, it was the Tanoura dance performance by a male dancer dressed in an array of brightly colored clothing. It is one of the most amazing experiences Dubai can offer. So guys, you shouldn’t miss it on your visit to Dubai.
Now coming to my outfit, this dress from Zaful is super fun. Most of you must know that Zaful is an online web shop for exciting and edgy fashion at an affordable price. Their trendy dresses are gorgeous and quality of items looks exactly the same as on the product pictures on their website. However, do take a good look on the quality of the items at their close-up shots, since some items may have very thin material. Zaful ships worldwide and their customer service is good too. I was very satisfied with my ordering process. 🙂
Previously, I have posted one of the outfit posts with Zaful (click here). When it comes to a transitional dressing, long maxi dresses are always my favorite so my second pick from Zaful was this gorgeous turquoise maxi dress. I just loved the beautiful print and boho vibe, as there is always a high level of comfort to be found in boho inspired outfits. There seems to be something restless about bohemin style, something that makes me think of words like wanderlust 🙂
The fabric of this dress was excellent and the best part is sleeves which make it perfect once the weather starts to cool down. It has drawn string at the waist to tighten-up for a fitted look or leave it loose for a casual feel. I accompanied this dress with boho neckpiece and pom pom earrings, as bohemin and pom pom is one thing that we all would love to play around this season. Also, to finish off the look, I chose my favorite Bholi Banjaran Kohlapuris from krafted with happiness. I love this look of mine. It turned lots of heads when I was on this roller-coaster ride. 🙂 You can also read more about the company at Zaful Reviews.
